Christmas in March

The kids' main Christmas present this year (thanks in large part to Grandpa and Grandma) was a swingset, which we purchased in December and Kurt put together in the garage little by little. Finally at the end of March it was warm/thawed enough to complete assembly and unveil to the kids. They love it!!

Science Center Saturday

We love our Science Center in Des Moines, especially in late winter when there's not yet much to enjoy outside. The kids love having freedom to explore, but they always seem to go in opposite directions, and fast! 

Cassidy made an awesome butterfly out of her Wiki Stix at lunch! An artist!

Snow Day!

It's finally warm enough to go outside and play in what snow we have left!

Baby Leah

Our good friends Justin and Katie Hanson recently had their third baby, a sweet girl they named Leah. We are all smitten with this little lady! Cassidy got to hold a baby for the first time. I asked her what she wanted to say to Leah and she said, "Leah, do you want to color with crayons with me?!" At the rate these kids are growing, these girls will be doing that together soon. 

Dance Party!

It's a daily occurrence around here - Dance Party! And of course, they're so cool they need sunglasses in the house. Ha! Excuse the blurry pictures - they move fast!
