Trying New Things

We've been trying some new things lately. Today was the blue bumbo chair. Cassidy is really too small for it, so she didn't last long. Today she also finally took to her swing. As you can see, it put her right to sleep! We also tried a sink bath. That didn't go so well - we'll stick with the baby bathtub for now!

Exaggerated

I'm not sure what amuses me more about this photo...how teeny tiny Cassidy looks next to Scott, or how gigantic Scott looks next to Cassidy!

More and more alert

Cassidy is more and more alert and awake these days. It's so fun to watch her as she's mesmerized by lights and colors. She loves to look at our Christmas tree and out the window, and looks intently at our faces. Her smile is sooooo close to making its grand appearance. We can hardly wait.

Meeting Grandparents J.

Grandpa and Grandma J. came to visit and meet Cassidy the first weekend in December. We spent time relaxing at home, and also enjoyed lunch out and a Christmas concert. It was fun to see how delighted the grandparents were with their new granddaughter!

Our girl is active - even while sleeping! These images were captured in the space of about five minutes during a daytime nap. I wonder how she's getting any rest at all.
